This free family-friendly event is the Canmore Museum & Geoscience Centre’s annual extravaganza of all things geoscience – including fossils, rocks, minerals, gold prospecting samples, ammonites, meteorites, “dinosaur skins”, and the always popular smash-your-own-geode!

This year’s geoscience talks, taking place in the Canmore Civic Centre Council Chambers, will be:

1 P.M. Ben Borkovic: Wading Through History – Fossil Hunting in the Wake of the 2013 Southern Alberta Flood

2 P.M. Doug Hayden: Hunting for Meteorites.
