Art in the Park Vendor Applications for the 2016 season are now available. Located on the grounds of the historic Northwest Mounted Police Barracks in downtown Canmore, Art in the Park gives local artists and artisans a picturesque outdoor venue to sell their work during Canmore’s peak tourism season. Art in the Park will run weekends from May 21st – Labour Day.

We invite you to join us at Canmore’s Northwest Mounted Police Barracks on December 12th from 11-3 for An Old-Fashioned Christmas at the Barracks. Get a taste for what Christmas in Canmore would have been like in coal-mining days gone by. There will be old photos on display, festive music, kid-friendly crafts and plenty of holiday cheer.
Come and celebrate All Hallows Eve at the NWMP Barracks on Saturday, October 31st from 1pm-4pm. Join in with Halloween crafts and games, and listen to witch’s story time. Costumes encouraged.
Saturday August 8, join us at the NWMP Barracks on Main Street between 11am-3pm for Mountie activities, crafts and to take part in our Downtown Canmore Heritage Scavenger Hunt/Photo Challenge (with prizes!). Attendance is free and all are welcome.
Art in the Park at the NWMP Barracks, 609 Main Street Canmore, is now open every weekend 10am-6pm until Aug 23. Come visit with our Artists and Artisans displaying and selling their art, photography and hand-crafted items.

The Canmore Museum & Geoscience Centre is now taking applications for the 2015 summer season of Art in the Park, every weekend May 16 through August 23 outdoors in the grounds of the NWMP Barracks on Canmore’s Main Street.
